Day 718-727
Four sleeps to go. I don't know what we are forgetting, but we don't have long to wait to find out! The kids are really helping out, Wendy is on holidays, so she has been out a few times to help with the Powerpoint, and I think I have the food ordered that we will need. Now we just have to do it. Glenn is being slightly neglected in this busy time, but he is also working on the PowerPoint, so he is occupied. Jackie phones pretty well everyday, and feels like she is forgetting something too. She works tomorrow, then is off for a week. Now we are hoping the weather will hold. I said to a neighbour that we are watching the Weather Channel for some reason. We will wake up Saturday morning and see how it will be, and the Weather Channel is no help really. I think that we will have a blast, and hope that everyone who comes has a good time. They are so excited. They have been going to showers, and the stag and stagette were this weekend, so now it's time for the big show. Next week will be a slow one, as we will have to recover!
Truly, I've fretted about a few things, but that is a useless thing to do. I have to take my cues from Glenn, and carry on as usual. Everyone is willing to help if we ask, and I have a bit of trouble remembering to do that. I don't have to do everything myself, and that is just pride. Once I get my head straight, and let people do things, it is a relief. Glenn needs the interaction, as do our friends. It is a strange place to be. I can't really explain it. People offer help, and I have a hard time thinking of what I need help with. I guess it is being too independent or protective or something. I'm working on it.
So, this will be the last post before the wedding, pray for us as we celebrate.
