Day 920-933
Wow, what a beautiful day today is! It was really wet this morning, but it is one of the days in September that is made to enjoy! We were in the city yesterday, and it was nice for that too. We are getting around to visit more, it still plays me out, but that is getting easier too. We have learned a thing or two about where we can and can not go.
Glenn was standing at the sink the other day, and I asked him how long he has been doing that. Oh, he tries it now and then, but he was not even leaning against the chair! He tries more than I know about, I think, and it is good to see the progress. He still is breaking the rules of recovery in this situation, and I say "Yeah!"
We went to his work yesterday, and I let someone take him on a tour while I sat in the waiting area. The people he was visiting with could understand most of what he said! I think that it is time to expose him more that way, it breaks down a few fears and inhibitions. They couldn't figure out one thing he said, so I think that was a good start. He is to receive a long time achievement award, so we will go back soon while the weather is still nice, or at least while there is no snow.
We still haven't had any action in the yard as to house building, but I think the paper work is almost complete. I'm starting to get bills, anyway, so that should be a sign of completion. It is hard to wait, Colin and Chelsey are chasing the subdivision as it goes through the bureaucracy. They are of the impression it is soon completed as well.
