August 28 - September 21

Day1284- 1303
We are getting possession of the house tomorrow. It is cleaned up and ready for us to move in! Now if only the weather would dry up a bit so we don't have to track a bunch of muck in I will be a happy woman.
Glenn was over there on one of the drier days last week and said he didn't want to go back to the old house, so that tells you how he feels about the new digs. It will be easier in so many ways I can't even tell you. Yesterday we came home from therapy, and it was raining(again). We drove by the new house and I said to him I would really like to just drive into the garage and be dry while he transferred and I hauled in the groceries. Soon!
I have a cold, and am trying hard to nip it in the bud. So far I'm not too bad, but we'll see how the week goes. My throat is better today, and I don't have a headache anymore, ( aren't drugs great?) Glenn will have to start on the vitamin regime to hold off the bugs.
He is pretty pumped about the house and how we can outfit it to help him up onto his feet more. We will look into a track on the ceiling and a body harness so that the danger of falling is gone. I think that falling really is a great distraction (of course) so he can't concentrate on moving his legs. That will be in the future, we have to live there for a while to see how everything else works out before we do that.
We are well otherwise, just dealing with red tape and all the stuff life throws at you to keep you on your toes. We haven't been able to visit much, as the weather has not been conducive to wheelchair mobility. We'll be expecting lots of company for a while after we move, but that too remains to be seen.
'Til next time,
Louise

YAHOO! CONGRATULATIONS! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!
The weather stinks more than anything! I could and can go on but my language will go where it shouldn't.
Take care. Love you both.
