Hi. I'm sorry, this probably isn't the right forum for this, but I have to say what's on my mind. Last night on the CTV news, I heard about a fellow that was arrested for transporting $3 million worth of drugs. He got off on a technicality. He's now a free man! The judge said that the police had no right to search his motor home.
The police obviosly knew what was going on before they stopped him. I don't know about you, but if it were me transporting $3 million of drugs (and I hardly ever do that anymore), I would do everything in my power NOT to get stopped by the police. My support is firmly behind the police.
It is a slippery slope. The judge had no option, but to let him go, if he thought that his civil rights had been infringed upon. But obviosly he let a guilty man go free.

I agree with you, Glenn. Although I question what civil rights does this man have when it is proven that he has broken the law. The chicken and egg argument,I guess.
